Those were beautiful times. We had a revolution that swept the country, and we became a force. Those first flower children started a wave that washed the blood from the eyes of an entire country. You should have seen it. We were making love, not war. We began to demand changes in how things were done. We demanded that people begin to see that we were all in this together. We demanded civil rights!”
